Apache vs Yaws

Apache vs Yaws. (Executive summary: Apache dies at 4,000 concurrent requests; Yaws is still working fine at 80,000.)

Yaws is written in Erlang, which seems to be far-and-away the best language around at the moment for concurrency.

    Erlang is trendy and all that but I wonder how fast things would have gone if the kernel had been patched to use Van Jacobson net channels which can apparently make network communications 6 times faster with lower CPU overheads…
